1. Maltby Street Market
Want a more intimate feel to your market? Try Maltby Street Market. The market opened in 2010, and this unlikely south-east London backwater quickly became a popular weekend destination. Its small size, picturesque railway arches and decoration encourages and allows for careful curation and a churn of start ups and star traders. Known for its gourmet food and cozy feel, Maltby is a must do!

4. Chatsworth Road, Lower Clatpon
Visit one of London’s most historic markets; beginning before World War II and revamped by the City council in 2011, this market is a historical (and delish) staple for residents in Clapton. The market has a huge range of food carts, including falafel from Hoxton Beach, Mexican food from the Quesadilla Cart and German sausages from Herman ze German. Over half of the traders live in the surrounding postcode areas, making the market a truly local affair!

5. Berwick Street, Soho
This bustling foodie destination is located right in the heart of London. Although the market offers traditional fruit and vegetable stands, its better known for its trendy street food. Berwick is a great place to visit for lunch, and with stalls like Wow Shee’s Egyptian pittas, Freebird Burritos and The Jerk Drum’s Caribbean food, you’ll never be left unsatisfied!

One of the newest food markets in London, Kerb Camden offers over 35 traders who are open 7 days a week all year round!
